I am not really one for dressing up at Halloween. #partypooper alert I know. It’s just never really been my thing. So John suggested for me to do my Halloween Makeup Look for this weeks video.

As in the makeup I would actually wear if we were up to anything. Although we will probably end up just staying in and watching some scary films and filling our faces with popcorn πŸ™‚ But, I thought it was a cool idea to go all out orange for the day that’s in it. And if you’re like me and you just cannot be bothered to venture out too far, this Halloween Makeup Look might float your boat.

I went a bit overboard with the orange and used some new products to me. Overall, I was really happy with how the look turned out though and it is something I would actually wear.

How much of a difference does makeup make though?? I do love a good before and after πŸ™‚

You can watch the video directly on my Youtube channel as always here. I know if you’re a Youtube fiend like me it might be easier to watch there πŸ™‚

I used an abundance of products I know, but I just wanted to have some fun and play around with makeup. I think I name everything I used. But, if I missed anything or you have any questions feel free to leave them down below. I do enjoy a makeup natter πŸ™‚

As always thank you so much for taking the time to click on this and watch. I am like a broken record now, but I really really appreciate it. Have a brilliant Halloween Bank Holiday Weekend whatever you get up too.

I already did a post on the Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics Palette this week here if you want to see it up close and swatched.

urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics Palette

I thought I would do a post showing it in action too, just to give you an idea of how it applies. And, of course I was itching to use it on my eyeballs πŸ™‚

I did it in video form just because I think it’s the best way to do it really. As I always say, I am not a makeup artist, nor is my makeup application perfect. I definitely could have blended more. But, I hope me showing it in action gives you some indication of how good the shadows are in the Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics Palette. I am really impressed with them. I will say the warmer tones don’t apply as warm as they look in the pan. But, that doesn’t really bother me too much.

I didn’t plan what I was going to do. I just kind of went with the shadows in the palette that I gravitated too. I used the dark brown Colourpop Gel Liner in ‘Brew ha ha’. You can get this from their website here. I will say it did crumble off my lash line after a few hours of wear, not ideal!

I also used the SoSu by Suzanne Jackson Lashes in the style ‘Katie’, which I really love. I picked them up from Cloud10beauty for €5.95 here. I will definitely pick up more of her falsies!

You can of course watch the video as always by clicking on the video above, or you can click here to go and watch it directly on my Youtube channel. And sure you could always subscribe while you were there if you fancied πŸ™‚

Did you pick up the Urban Decay Ultimate Naked Basics Palette? What’s your favourite shade? Let me know and thanks for clicking, reading and watching. I really really appreciate it.

This is my interpretation of an Autumn Makeup Look.

irish beauty blog

Of course makeup has no rules and you can wear what you want. But, we do (well I think we do), tune in to certain trends for the different seasons. For me, when I think of an Autumn Makeup Look I think of golds and bronze shades on the eyes and dark lips.

In this video I used some old favourites. Yes, I dusted off the original Urban Decay Naked Palette for this look. I forgot just how much I loved this! The shade ‘Half-Baked’ is probably my favourite gold eyeshadow ever. It is just so flattering on the eyes.

I also dipped into a couple of newbie products from Sleek Makeup. The Cleopatra’s Kiss Highlighter Palette which I only spoke about here recently. And one of their Matte Me liquid lipstick in ‘Velvet Slipper’. It is out of stock at the moment, eeek, apologies for that! I wouldn’t have used it if I had known!

I mention all the products I use in the video, which as always you can click on above. Or, you can watch it directly over on my Youtube channel here. If you have any questions about anything, you can of course just ask me though πŸ™‚

I always like to stress to that I am not a makeup artist, just someone who loves makeup…alot πŸ™‚

Autumn Makeup Look

Let me know what you think of my super simple Autumn Makeup Look. And let me know the makeup looks or products that make you think of Autumn. Dark lips are the only thing I like about the weather getting colder, I swear. The sun hasn’t even completely gone yet and I am already mourning it πŸ™‚

As always, thanks for taking the time to watch, read and interact. I really really appreciate it.

Myself and John are on a little break away in Wexford. We’re in Duncannon and honestly it’s one of the prettiest places I have ever been in my life. The scenery is breathtaking! One of the days we thought we would head out for a bit of lunch and a wander so I thought I would turn the camera on and take you through my Ten Minute Makeup Look.

ten minute makeup look irish beauty blog

I would describe this as quick, simple ten minute makeup look with a bit of added extra effort. I didn’t want it to take too long, but I still wanted to look put together.

The products I used for my ten minute makeup look are as follows:

The Hyalmide HA Blur Prismatic Blurring Surface Hydrator. You can read more about this on their website here.

L’Oreal Nude Magique Cushion Foundation. I have a full review of this here.

Nyx Micro Brow Pencil. Full review here.

Freedom Brow Powder Duo. I spoke more about this here. I also talk about the Collection concealer in this post too.

The Soap & Glory Archery 2 in 1 Setting Gel. I did a post on this here.

theBalm Put A Lid On It eyeshadow primer. There’s a full blog post on this here.

Makeup Revolution, Ultra Contour Palette. I have a review of this here.

Makeup Geek Foiled Shadow in ‘In The Spotlight” and their shadow in ‘Brown Sugar’. You can see up close swatches of these here.

Colorpop CrΓ¨me Gel Liner in ‘Stomper’. There’s swatches and more info on this here.

Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer. Click here if you want a full review on this.

Fairydrops Scandal Queen Waterproof Mascara. I have a full review and close ups of this in action here.

Mac Full Coverage Foundation. I have literally used this for years. it something I always repurchase. You can buy Mac from Brown Thomas.

Wet n Wild Dual Ended Contour Stick. I did a first impressions video not too long ago on this here.

L’Oreal Glam Bronze Cushion De Soleil. Full review here.

Ben Nye Cameo Powder. There’s a full review and more info on this here.

The Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette is really new to me. I have swatches in this post here if it tickles your fancy πŸ™‚

And then finally the Barry M Matte Me Up Lip Crayon in number 3. I did a post about a couple of these a while back here.

There you have it, my ten minute makeup look from our little home away from home πŸ™‚

This super simple Summer coloured liner look has been one of my go to makeup looks over the last couple of weeks.

Simple Summer Liner Look Nyx Vivid

There is really not a whole load going on on the eyes. It’s a little bit of definition in the crease, because I need it. A slick of this NYX Vivid Brights Liquid Liner in ‘Vivid Envy’, which I talked about in my recent NYX haul here.

irish beauty youtuber

I don’t find liquid liner the easiest to work with personally, but I think these fun light colours are a little bit more forgiving on the eyes. And, I do use a little shortcut to help the process a little bit too πŸ™‚

Simple Summer Coloured Liner Look

I just finished the look off with a light layer of pink lippie, some pink blush and a sweep of highlighter too. I also used a nude pencil in my waterline to open up my eyes a little bit more and make me look more awake.

This Simple Summer Coloured Liner Look. That’s what I decided to call it, catchy, right? ;p I think it makes a great day time look. It’s light on the products, but still pack a fun makeup punch.

These NYX Vivid Bright Liquid Liners come in array of shades. I got this one in Boots and now I have a real urge to buy more. I really love this makeup look because I still feel myself in it, even though it has a bit of an unusual twist πŸ™‚

Ok, I’ll stop rambling πŸ™‚ You can click on the video on the top of this post, to see how I apply my liner or you can head straight to my Youtube channel and watch it by clicking here.

As always, thanks for stopping by and taking the time to read and watch. It’s always much appreciated.

Let me know what you think πŸ™‚

As you probably know from the title, this is just a casual Makeup Get Ready With Me Video. Myself and John went to a screening of Rocky in the Tivoli for the Jameson Cult Club and I had to slap a bit of…slap on, so I thought I would turn the camera on and film it πŸ™‚

Casual Makeup grwmWe actually had loads of fun at the Rocky screening, they had scenes out of the movie set up in the Tivoli, and throughout the film, actors came in and reenacted some of the most memorable parts.

jameson cult film clubrocky jameson cult film clubirish blogirish bloggerSo onto the makeup, I went with a really simple, typical me eye look, using theBalm Meet Matte Nudes palette (full review here) and the Essence Shape & Shadows palette (full review here). I had a bit of trouble blending out one of the matte shades in the crease as you’ll see in the video, but sure none of us are perfect and I got there in the end πŸ™‚

All the products are listed in the video, I managed to edit the names in as I went along! Go me, that means my editing skills are progressing ha!

This is really just me doing my casual makeup, no funny business, I didn’t speed any of it up either, so if you don’t like seeing alot of blending, this video might not be for you πŸ™‚

Any questions on any of the products, as always just holler, I have posts on alot of them here, so if you see something you like, search for it in the search bar on the top right hand corner, and there might be already a full explanation with pictures to boot!

If you liked the video, you can always subscribe to my Youtube channel here so any other videos I upload will go into your subscription box.

As always thanks for taking the time out of your day to click πŸ™‚
