Soap & Glory Solar Powder

Soap & Glory Solar Powder

I’ve had the Soap & Glory Solar Powder a little while now and have been using it on and off. People had been loving it and so of course I wanted to try it out. Fomo and all of that jazz 🙂 Soap & Glory are renowned now for their fabulously scented skincare, but now they are definitely making their mark in the makeup world too.

Soap & Glory Solar PowderAs you can see it comes with a sprayed glitter S&G on top of it. Don’t worry, this is only there for a minute, it’ll come off with a few sweeps of your brush. It has two different sides to it. A darker more matte bronzer and then a lighter shade with a gold shimmer laced through it.

Shimmery bronzers are usually a no no in my book. I’m pale and I’ve oily skin, so shimmer doesn’t always work in my world…it just doesn’t look cute. I think the Soap & Glory Solar Powder do it cleverly though. As the shimmer is only on one side you can have the best of both worlds. You can use them individually for your desired effect, you can swirl them together for a darker bronzed look with a hint of shimmer. And then you can multi use the product depending on your skin tone. The darker matte shade can work for creating some subtle definition and then the lighter shade can be used as a highlight aswell.

I tend to swirl my brush in the darker shade more and then just brush it across the shimmer for a light dusting and I find it really pretty. Especially since it is becoming a bit warmer in Ireland now, so we can bronze up a little more. It has nice creamy texture to it, it isn’t powdery at all and it last really well on the skin too.

Solar Powder is available in Boots and is priced at €15.49. They are always on 3 for 2 though.

Overall, I really like the Soap & Glory Solar Powder. I think it will be a bronzer I will be reaching for alot in the Summer months.

Tell me what’s your favourite bronzer?
