Night Out Makeup Look – GRWM

I filmed this on St Patrick’s Day. I decided to be lazy during the day and just watched the parade on the TV and veg out. For the evening though, myself, John and some friends went for some festive drinks 🙂 So, I blarred the music, turned the camera on and filmed myself doing my makeup. You know a love a get ready with me style video. This is my night out makeup look on behalf of St Paddy!

I wanted an excuse to use my new Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow in ‘Kitten Karma’.

I bought mine off the Stila website directly here. It pains me to say it cost over €30 to get it shipped here, but it was sold out everywhere else. So, I took the hit, because I had major fomo 🙂

L’Oréal Infallible Mattifying Base. I have a review of this here. Not my favourite, but I am finishing up the bottle because it works grand.

Get Ready With Me For An Event

This is my first Get Ready With Me video for 2017. I didn’t wait long did I?

What can I say, I am a sucker for get ready with me videos :). I love watching people going from having not a stitch of makeup on to ALL the makeup on, it satisfies me greatly.

I was getting ready to head to a blogger event so I thought it was the perfect time to sit down in front of the camera and do my makeup. Festive Makeup Get Ready With Me

I know it’s a tad early, but Christmas is only a few weeks away now. I am a big fan of Santy season, I’ll take any excuse to talk about it here on Beautynook 🙂 I haven’t done a Get Ready With Me style video in a while so, I thought I would start the season off with a Festive Makeup GRWM 🙂

I reckon I can call it festive makeup because I added some Christmas music over it and used a bit of sparkle.

I did speed the video up, but I edited very little of it out, so this is my makeup pretty much from start to finish, just 4 times as fast. I was going out that night so I did apply a fair bit of slap, but sure we’re all makeup lovers here, right? 🙂

Casual Makeup Get Ready With Me

As you probably know from the title, this is just a casual Makeup Get Ready With Me Video. Myself and John went to a screening of Rocky in the Tivoli for the Jameson Cult Club and I had to slap a bit of…slap on, so I thought I would turn the camera on and film it 🙂

We actually had loads of fun at the Rocky screening, they had scenes out of the movie set up in the Tivoli, and throughout the film, actors came in and reenacted some of the most memorable parts.

So onto the makeup, I went with a really simple, typical me eye look, using theBalm Meet Matte Nudes palette (full review here) and the Essence Shape & Shadows palette (full review here). I had a bit of trouble blending out one of the matte shades in the crease as you’ll see in the video, but sure none of us are perfect and I got there in the end 🙂

All the products are listed in the video, I managed to edit the names in as I went along! Go me, that means my editing skills are progressing ha!

This is really just me doing my casual makeup, no funny business, I didn’t speed any of it up either, so if you don’t like seeing alot of blending, this video might not be for you 🙂

Spring Makeup Get Ready With Me

So many of you told me you love watching Get Ready With Me style videos. I love watching them too (not my own though if I’m being honest ha) So here’s a Spring Makeup one, where I am basically applying a face of makeup that I would wear for a Spring day/early evening. Myself and himself were off for some Friday eats this day so I thought it would be a appropriate because I was actually doing my makeup to go somewhere, not just for the sake of filming 🙂

This is more of a talk through style video, which I still haven’t completely mastered, words still elude me 🙂 But I thought I would give it a whirl and sure don’t they say practice makes perfect, right?

I used a mixture of more affordable and more high end makeup which is a true representation of my normal makeup routine. I like to mix it up 🙂

Get Ready With Me Affordable Makeup!

I did another Youtube video…it’s no mean feat I’ll tell you that much 🙂 My neighbours are currently building an extension, so the noise outside my window is pretty loud this week, so I thought get ready with me using affordable makeup video would be appropriate with some chill out music over top.
