We all know St Moritz tan. The brand have been in Ireland since 2009 and are still going strong. It’s such an affordable range and is available nationwide in Penneys, Mc’Cabe’s Pharmacy,McCauley’s and Bradley’s. I was lucky enough to attend the launch of their new range this week and wanted to show you up close the St Moritz New Releases.

St Moritz New Releases

They have repackaged, relaunched and launched some new products!

It is a really fresh smelling gel with really fine exfoliating particles in it. A 200ml tube costs €6.95

Next up in the list of St Moritz new releases we have their Moisturising Tan Enhancer.

irish beauty blogger

According to St Moritz this:

  • Preps & maintains
  • Has a moisture rich formula
  • Is oil free
  • Prolongs tan with aloe vera
  • Ideal for beginners or experienced tanners, but essential for all to create and prolong the ultimate tan

top beauty blog ireland

This, like the scrub is a gel like formula. It has a coconut scent to it. You can use it on any rough areas of skin like the elbows and knees before tanning too! A 200ml tube costs €6.95

The 5 in 1 Tanning Mousse is next.

irish makeup and beauty blog

According to St Moritz this is:

  • Longer Lasting
  • Has a bb skin finish
  • Is moisture rich
  • Is skin smoothing
  • Has patented mood enhancing fragrance technology
  • Is available in medium and dark
  • Contains 100% naturally derived tanning agent
  • Has an instant guide colour

top beauty blogger ireland

In the bottle this to me smells really nice. I’ve yet to use it so cannot comment on how good it actually is…I’ll keep you posted πŸ™‚ It’s liquid in the bottle and then pump releases it in a mousse formula. This costs €10.95 for a 200ml bottle.

irish makeup and beauty blogger

Their Velvet Finishing Gel according to the creators is:

  • Moisture rich
  • Skin soothing hydrating
  • has a non greasy finish
  • Has even coverage
  • Has patented mood enhance fragrance technology
  • Available in medium & dark
  • 100% naturally derived tanning technology
  • It also controversially doesn’t have a guide colour. I think the reason for that is you can apply and let it develop without having to shower!

irish beauty blog

It has the same clean smell in the tube as the others and will set you back €10.95 for 175mls

The last product from the St Moritz new releases I have is their Fast Response Tanning Mist.

top irish beauty blog

According to St Moritz this:

  • Has an guide colour
  • It is fast developing 1-3 hours depending on shade
  • Ultra light
  • Non greasy
  • Patented mood enhance fragrance technology
  • New actuator for a controlled spray
  • 100% naturally derived tanning agent

I have actually given this a go (if you follow me on snapchat, you would have seen πŸ™‚ )

beauty blog ireland

I applied it to my legs with a mitt, I wouldn’t suggest using your hands with this. It applied really easily, smelled nice going on and dried super quickly too. I am quite pasty and left it on for about 2 and half hours. It gave me a hint of colour, but I did have to go over with an instant tan to bulk it up a little. I would definitely have to keep it on for longer. This costs €10.95 for a 150ml can.

There is also a Insta-Grad Tanning Mousse in the St Moritz New Releases. I don’t have it in my possession though. According to them it:

  • Gives instant colour
  • Instant tan and gradual build up
  • No mess & no fuss
  • Tested on sensitive skin
  • 100% naturally derived tanning agent
  • Ideal for fair skin
  • Patented mood enhance fragrance technology.

For a 200ml bottle this costs €10.95.

You can check out their website here for more information.

So there you have it, all theΒ St Moritz new releases in a nutshell πŸ™‚ A product to suit every tanning mood. Any of them take your fancy?

This is round two of my H&M Makeup Haul. The is the face products round πŸ™‚ If you want to see the eye products I picked up, just click on the link here and you can see them up close and swatched. Again, I’ll link the UK H&M website here for all price listings as I bought these in Norway and was probably ripped off πŸ™‚ Everything is pretty reasonable price wise .

First up in my H&M makeup haul part two is the Cover-Up Concealer.

irish beauty blog

Now, I wanted this in Ivory, but I couldn’t find one on the stand to save my life, so I got Vanilla, that’s a tad dark for my skin, but sure I’ll make it work. This would be an all over skin concealer, however I think I will chance it as an under eye one and see how it works.

irishbeautyblog

It has a thin consistency and seems to blend really well into the skin. On first swatch it hasn’t a huge amount of coverage, but it definitely seems like it could be build-able.

irish beauty blogger

beauty blog ireland

I just blended it really softly here

Next up is their Immaculate Compact Foundation.

beauty blogger ireland

I chose this over one of their setting powders because I tend to like a bit of coverage with my face powders.

This is in the shade Ivory and I adore the packaging.

irish makeup and beauty blogger

It comes with a mirror, the powder and than a sponge underneath.

irish makeup and beauty blogThe powder is really finely milled. There is a bit of a weird scent to it but nothing to crazy. After swatching it, the shade Ivory which I believe is the lightest shade they do may be slightly to dark for my natural (MacNC20) skin tone.

irish makeup bloggertop irish beauty blogger

This is a bit annoying considering there are paler people than me out there.

I also got their Solar Flair Bronzing Powder. I had actually seen Lily Pebbles talk fondly of this so I knew it was something I wanted to try.

irish blog

Again, I love the sleek packaging and it comes with a good sized mirror.

I got the shade ‘Sheer Tan’. I think this was the lightest bronzing shade they do. I really like that they do different colours. That is not a regular thing within a beauty brand.

irish blogger

I can detect a really really subtle sheen to the powder when swatched and like the powder foundation it is a really finely milled powder. I think I’m really going to like this πŸ™‚

h&m makeuptop beauty blog irelandThe last thing I have to show is one of the H&M Pure Radiance Powder Blushers.

irish beauty blog

Again, I’ll address the packaging, it’s super pretty and these have a gold bottom which I really love.

I chose the shade ‘Sunrise Pink’. I thought this was the most wearable shade for me.

irish blogger

It’s a dusky pink with a fleck of gold sparkle running through it. When you apply it though, the shimmer doesn’t seem to translate too much.

h&m makeup irelandbeauty blog ireland

Personally, I’m happy about this, but if you’re looking for the sparkle you might not be.

Overall, on first impressions, I am really pleased with my H&M makeup purchases. The packaging, the products themselves and the price points are really great. I look forward to actually applying these to my mug now and seeing how they fare πŸ™‚

Thanks for reading.

Cocoa Brown Golden Goddess Shimmering Dry Body Oil, the newest Cocoa Brown kid on the block.

cocoa brown reviewCocoa Brown already has us glittering with their Shimmering Instant Tan Bronzing Gel (you can see it up close here) and now they are spoiling us, with a shimmering body oil.

irish beauty blogFirst off the packaging of the Golden Goddess is really pretty. It’s a 50ml clear glass bottle, with a pump on the top, which I always appreciate. The clear bottle lets you see the prettiness of the shimmering oil inside and keeps you knowing how much product you have left.

The product itself is a separated oil formula that you have to shake up to get the golden goddess going πŸ™‚

irish makeup and beauty blogA little of it goes a long way, it’s really easy to apply, has the familiar Cocoa Brown scent (which I really like) and absorbs really quickly. Because it’s a dry oil, it doesn’t leave behind an greasy residue. When massaged into the skin, it leaves behind the prettiest golden shimmer.

cocoa brown irish beauty blogWithout any Cocoa Brown tanning help, I am naturally a pale Irish girl and the Golden Goddess still manages to give me a hint of colour as well as a shimmer…bonus!

It looks really gorgeous applied down the shin bone, on your collar bone, anywhere you would want a shimmery sheen really. I’ve seen people are using Golden Goddess even as a cheek bone highlighter, great idea!

You can pick up the Cocoa Brown Golden Goddess Shimmering Dry Body Oil in Penneys stores nationwide and from Cara Pharmacy. It will set you back €11.99 and will last you aaaagggggeeeesssss! πŸ™‚

I’m off on a little breakaway for the Christmas period πŸ™‚ Obviously being a beauty junkie, the products I bring, are quite important to me. This post is going to cover all of the skincare with the added daily bits and pieces I will use. Basically everything other than makeup, I will cover all that in another post soon πŸ™‚

First up the skincare and body essentials.

Deodorant:

irish beauty blog

I prefer a cream deodorant. And I think cream and roll ons travel more safely too.

Toothpaste and toothbrush:

beverly hills toothpaste

I have a mini of one of my favourite toothpastes, the Beverly Hills Perfect White, that is actually black because it contains charcoal. I bloody loves this toothpaste and I have a matching toothbrush because I’m fancy that comes with a head cover on it which is so handy.

Bodywash:

the body shop

I have a mini Wild Argan Oil Shower Gel from The Body Shop. God I love minis, don’t you?

I’m bringing three body creams…extremely excessive I know, but they all have different uses.

I have a mini Atoderm moisturiser from Bioderma. I got this in a Bioderma Christmas skincare set that I reviewed here not too long ago. I’ll keep this for using anywhere that gets really dry.

bioderma

I’m going to bring one of the Nivea In Shower Body Moisturisers with me too, for everyday use.

nivea

This is the new one, that’s apparently for ‘firming’. It has little menthol massage beads in it though, so I think it will be good for the hotter weather. (we’re going to Lanzarote, so hoping it will be warmer than Ireland :).

The third moisturiser is a gradual daily bronzer from The Tan.

The Tan

I do not get a sun tan, I’m freckly and pale, so this will come in handy to keep me looking somewhat alive. I really like this one, it dries quickly and doesn’t make you stink too much.

As I am a paley, I am going to bring an instant tan too.

cocoa brownMy favourite at the minute which I have a review and demo of here is the shimmer version of Cocoa Brown’s new Instant Tan Bronzing Gel.

It’s such a handy tan and is water resistant. This will get alot of use.

I bought some fancy disposable razors because it’s Christmas and they were half off in Boots πŸ˜‰

irish beauty blog

Boring and a pain but necessary if the pins are going to be on display.

Sun protection will be really important too.

p20 sun protection

It will be hopefully in the 20’s in Spain, so I’m going to bring P20 SPF in Factor 30. This is water resistant for up to 10 hours and it soaks in well so it doesn’t add to the clammy feeling…I really hate feeling clammy πŸ™‚

For face SPF I’m bringing the Bioderma BB Cream.

irish beauty blogger

I’ve never used this before so I am hoping it doesn’t melt off my face. It contains SPF 30 and is anti redness so will hopefully camouflage my red cheeks if I over heat.

To wash my face, I am bringing the Ultra Brightening Cleanser from Neostrata.

Neostrata

I’ve only used this a couple of times, but so far I like it, and I thought bringing it with me would let me give it a try properly.

I have a mini eye makeup remover from Thalgo.

thalgo

This is an oily solution which is my favourite for eye makeup remover. I always use waterproof mascara so it’s a necessity.

For pre cleanser, I’m bringing a mini of the holy grail Bioderma Micellar Water.

bioderma micellar water

Perfect travel companion πŸ™‚

I have no night time eye cream to bring I’ll have to buy one in the airport but for daily use, The Body Shop Drops of Youth eye gel is coming.

irish beauty blog beautynook

I’ve been using this for a while now and really like it.

To tone I have a mini of one of my faves the Neostrata Oily Skin Solution.

neostrata oily skin solution

If you suffer with spots and have oily skin like me, this is such a brilliant product.

Again, because I’m high maintenance I am bring another toner. This will double as a facial mist and makeup setting spray too though. This is the La Roche Posay Serozinc.

la roche posay serozinc

I have a full review of this bad boy here if you want a more indepth description of it. It has become a skincare staple for me.

For night cream, I am bringing this cute mini Oils Of Life Facial Oil from The Body Shop.

the body shop oil of life

Skincare is covered I think (I hope).

There’s much less going on in my haircare regime.

I’m trying out the L’Oreal Pro Fiber Revive shampoo and conditioner.

irish blog

I have a mini Moroccan Oil.

irish blog beautynook

This stuff is great for nourishing the hair and great for dry ends so comes in very handy in the hotter weather.

For the evening to jazz up my hair a bit, I’m bringing my favourite texturising spray from Charles Worthington.

irish makeup and beauty blog

If you are looking for a cheaper alternative to the Oribe cult spray, give this a go. It’s great for root lift if you’re like me and you don’t like back combing your hair.

A bit of hairspray is a must for me.

irish beauty blog beautynook

I have a mini (so many minis I know) of this L’Oreal soft hairspray. My frizzy bits will thank me πŸ™‚

And by golly I think that’s it! Too much? Probably. I was a scout for my whole childhood though and our motto was always be prepared πŸ™‚

xxx

I’ve gathered some beauty bits to do a little give-away here on Beautynook just to say thanks for all the support. I really love blogging, and for people to actually go out of their way to read my thoughts on here is pretty amazing to me πŸ™‚

As you can see, I have some lovely goodies from L’Occitane,Nima Brush,Catrice,Flormar,Nimue,Mine Tan, Jessup and from Penneys.

Yep they’ve finally gone and done it! Cocoa Brown have released an instant tan! They’ve answered our tanning prayers πŸ™‚

Cocoa Brown Marissa Carter

Us bloggers got all dolled up and headed to The Shelbourne this past Sunday where we were treated to a lovely and pink afternoon by Marissa and the Cocoa Brown girls. We were showered with gifts and the new Cocoa Brown Instant Tan Bronzing Gels were unleashed on us.

Marissa has created two different Instant Tan Bronzing Gels. One is matte.

Cocoa Brown Instan Tan Bronzing Gel Matte

And the other has shimmer running through it.

Cocoa Brown Instant Tan Bronze Gel Shimmer

Here’s the matte one Bronzing Gel on my hand.

irish beauty blog

And here you can see the matte and the shimmer bronzing gel side by side.

irish beauty blog beautynook

They both differ in consistency slightly, the matte one is more of a fluid gel, where as the one with the shimmer is, well more of a gel texture πŸ™‚

Both of the Cocoa Brown Instant Tan Bronzing Gel’s apply to the skin super easy, there’s not much faffing about and they dry really quickly too. You can apply as many layers of them as you need to build up the colour you want without the product going patchy as they are a thin gel and blend really well.Β  Added bonus they smell really nice too πŸ™‚

Obviously, I’ve only had these babies since Sunday so I haven’t given them a full road test yet, but first impressions are really good.

I applied them on both my legs to give you a better look at the finish you are left with. I applied with my hands, but of course you can use a mitt if you want too. (Cocoa Brown have just brought out a double sided one fyi πŸ™‚

Here’s my pasty leg with nothing on it.

beauty blog

I applied a couple of coats of the matte instant tan.

irish blog

irish makeup and beauty blog

Then it’s time for the shimmer instant tan. Again, my other pasty leg :p

irish makeup blog

Then a couple of coats of the shimmer tan.

irish makeup and beauty blog beautynook

makeup and beauty blog

The shimmer is hard to pick up on my camera, but there’s alot of shimmer going on, I promise.

irish beauty blog

It really is tanning in an instant, and the product is splash proof, thank god with unpredictable weather like ours πŸ™‚

I for one am so happy about these releases. I hold my hands up and admit I am such a lazy tanner, it’s one of my least favourite things to do, so I love a good instant tan, it just takes the effort out of it really. Also if you’re pale like me and your developing tan doesn’t always develop enough, it’s handy to have something like this in your beauty drawer for back up.

Cocoa Brown Instant Tan Bronzing Gel should be hitting the shelves in Penneys stores near you very soon or you can order from Cloud10beautyΒ  here. Β They will both be €6.99 for 150ml tube.

Will you be picking one or both of them up? Let me know what you think.
