This is the new PS KPOP Collection from Penneys. It is completely Korean inspired, in case the name didn’t give that away 🙂
Penneys say ‘The new KPOP Collection is Korean inspired. offering everything you need for a fresh faced, dewy look with the cutest accessories to add some fun to your application.’
I definitely don’t think the PS KPOP Collection will be for everyone, especially aesthetically. The packaging is very cutesy and girly everything as we would assume it be from the theme. However, keep reading, because even if you don’t like the look of some of the products, you may like how they perform.
I don’t have everything from the collection. There’s mirrors, nails, tweezers and an abundance of makeup products. I do have a good cross selection of the makeup goodies though, so I though it was worth showing in blogpost form.
I’ll try get through this quick sharp, as there is a fair few products! 🙂
We have two palettes that are both cherry flavoured and have heart shaped pans.
The Sugar Rush Eyeshadow Palette that retails for €6.
The KPOP Sweet Cheeks Blush & Highlight Palette. This is also €6.
Pretend mind doesn’t have a big chunk gone out of it. This actually swatched really nicely.
I have three of the Bubble Blush Cushion Blushers. These cost €5.
We have Coral Dreams. Sugar Rush. And, Pastel Pink.
I have three of the Afterglow Liquid Highlighters. These retail for €3.
All three of them are duo chrome and have a doe foot applicator.
I stupidly took the price tag off them, because they were sealed shut, and that took off the shade names. So I don’t know what these are called, but sure I can still swatch them for you 🙂
There is a Shimmer Powder, which comes with a sponge applicator and mirror. This costs €3.50.
It gives a light sparkle to the skin.
The PS KPOP Collection Super Cheeky Cheek Tints will set you back €3.
I have the shade Bubblegum.
There is also little Double Trouble Lip & Cheek Balms. These are €2 each.
I have Cupcake. And Prinny.
We also have Jelly Lipsticks, that definitely remind me of growing up in the 90’s. These retail for €2.
Cherryade is the first one I have. The second one is Pink Laces.
Second last is the Eye Candy Eyeliners which will cost you €1.50.
This one is a pastel pink shade which I am actually super intrigued to use. I think it will work really nicely in the waterline. There are other shades available of though.
Then finally, we have the Pillow Talk Matte Lip Cushions.
Out of everything, I think, other than the palettes. These were the thing I was most excited to swatch. However, as you can probably see the eyeshadow palette isn’t too strong in pigment, other shades are better than others.
I have three shades. They have a twist close lid and a sponge applicator. And, although the Pillow Talk Lip Cushions are pigmented, the product was hard to get out and I actually broke off two of the applicators, hence the messy swatches.
The pink is called Cuddle. The brown is Honey Bun. The orange is Jelly Bean.
The PS KPOP Collection is available in Penneys now. You can see the last collection I spoke about here if you’re interested in checking any of their other products out. I think the Bronze Collection has a bit more to offer. Anything tickle your fancy?
