This was a pretty off the cuff video idea. I say that a lot, I know 🙂 Currently I am on a job hunt and I was about to get ready for an interview. I thought I would pop the camera on and create a video on my job interview makeup look.

Just a side note, this was not for a corporate position, so I didn’t have to be too formal. I would describe my job interview makeup look as my everyday makeup look, just a bit more polished. I kept everything pretty simple and neutral. A bit of shimmer on the eyes and a glossy mauve lip.

I used eyeshadow for liner to give everything a softer look and used a neutral eye pencil in the water line to make me look more awake. Of course, typical timing, I have a cold at the minute so I tried to disguise that a bit too.top irish beauty blogger

*******PR SAMPLES USED*******

We all need a bit of festive glitter in our lives. I am bringing some in eyeshadow form, with this really simple, but effective festive sparkle makeup look.

Sparkle Makeup Tutorial

This sparkle makeup look is super easy to achieve and doesn’t require too much faffing around. I actually created it last week, when going out with friends. I already had some ‘daytime’ makeup on. So when it came to doing a more night time appropriate face. I really just went over what I already had on. It made me think this would be really great for going out straight after work. If you don’t have a lot of time, but still want to look put together.

Milani was one of those American brands that was always out of reach for us Irish makeup addicts. Not any more. It’s getting easier and easier for us to get our greedy mitts on what makeup we want from all over the world. This is both a good and a bad thing, depending on how you look at it 🙂

The Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso is spoken about so fondly in the beauty world. Everyone who owns it seems to love it. Hence why I needed it in my life.

It comes in gold plastic packaging with the 3.5 grams of product on the top and then a mirror and little brush underneath.

The brush is ok. I probably won’t get much use out of it. It isn’t the worst though.

The blush itself is really nice. It is soft to the touch and applies lovely and smoothly to the skin. It’s a peach blush swirled and baked within a more iridescent golden peach colour.

The finish reminds me of Nars Orgasm blush if Orgasm was more peach and less pink. I can see why it is so popular. It is just a really universal shade that would work for most skin colours. It gives a really pretty peachy sheen to the skin.

As it is pigmented, I use a less dense blush brush to apply it to the apples of my cheeks. Too much of this product on my pale would make me look a bit clown like.

It lifts my complexion and makes my skin look a bit more alive. I do love a bit of blush 😉

You can see here one cheek has the Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso applied and one doesn’t.

Overall I am so glad to have this in my makeup stash. It’s one of those colours that goes with any type of makeup look. I have been picking it up non stop since I bought it.
