This is my honest everyday Summer Makeup look! I tried to keep it as real as possible and just edited out my ‘ums’ and any long winded techniques. My brows take forever ๐Ÿ™‚

It’s nothing fancy or ground breaking, but this is generally what I do on a daily basis if I’m wearing makeup. The eye look might change a bit if I’m feeling fancier or lazier. The lip colour might change if I’m feeling a bold or bright lip, but the base tends to not really. I’ve found what works for my skin in the heat, so I don’t want to jinx it too much if I’m going out and about. If I know I’m staying close to home, then I can experiment and trial new products ๐Ÿ™‚

It all depends on what you feel most comfortable with. For me, brows and a bit of eyeshadow definition is a must. Eyeliner is not necessary so it’s not something I do day to day. Once I have a wash of colour on my lids I am happy enough. The main components of my everyday Summer makeup look, I’ve spoken about a lot before. I think this is an important aspect of this video though. You know I like these products and above all, you know I trust them.irish beauty blogger

I won’t get into everything, but some of the main products I used are in my June Favourites here. I have a review the Urban Decay Primer here, and of both the foundations I used here and here. Mac Springsheen blush has been a favourite for literally years and the highlighter from Pixi is a new, but very loved favourite.top irish beauty blog

And that is my ‘errand running’ everyday Summer makeup. If you watched the video, you’ll get the joke ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for tuning it. Tell me, what are some of your Summer makeup essentials?

Some of the products were new in 2016, some were new to me for the year and then some are just favourites that I always gravitate towards because I know they work.

I am not really one for dressing up at Halloween. #partypooper alert I know. It’s just never really been my thing. So John suggested for me to do my Halloween Makeup Look for this weeks video.

irish beauty vlogger

As in the makeup I would actually wear if we were up to anything. Although we will probably end up just staying in and watching some scary films and filling our faces with popcorn ๐Ÿ™‚ But, I thought it was a cool idea to go all out orange for the day that’s in it. And if you’re like me and you just cannot be bothered to venture out too far, this Halloween Makeup Look might float your boat.

I went a bit overboard with the orange and used some new products to me. Overall, I was really happy with how the look turned out though and it is something I would actually wear.

I used an abundance of products I know, but I just wanted to have some fun and play around with makeup. I think I name everything I used. But, if I missed anything or you have any questions feel free to leave them down below. I do enjoy a makeup natter ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m like a broken record, I know, but I have pretty oily skin and as a result of this makeup, as much as I love it, doesn’t particularly love me. It sinks into my skin, oxidizes and just doesn’t hang around too long. So, as a result, over the years, I’ve tried and tested lots of different ways to make it last longer on my visage. I’ve done a post about this in the past, but I’ve updated and added some different steps, so I thought I would put together all of my Long Lasting Makeup Tips in video form and demo them on my mug ๐Ÿ™‚

After Makeup

There is a lot of long lasting makeup steps in the video, I don’t expect anyone to do them all, unless of course you’re really oily like me. But if you struggle with your makeup slipping and sliding, or have a special occasion, some of them might help you a little. You can click on the video up above or go to my YouTube channel here to watch.

Long Lasting Makeup TipsJust in case something takes your fancy, I’ll link any reviews I have done in the past of the products I talk about in the video.
