Fenty makeup irelandYou might have saw me chatting about John very kindly going into the Fenty Beauty counter for me here?

fenty beauty ireland For Christmas, he popped in and picked me up the Killawatt Free Style Highlight Duo in ‘LGHTNG DST FIRE CRYS’.Fenty beauty

And the limited edition Starlit Hyper-Glitz Lipstick in ‘Sci-Fly‘.

All by himself may I add. Major brownie points. But like the beauty brat I am, I decided to pop into the Fenty Beauty counter myself and amend the gift so slightly. Don’t judge me, I was thinking with my blogger hat on. I wanted stuff I would enjoy, but also that you guys might want to hear about. The highlight duos are gorge, but there’s loads of reviews on them now. The lipstick was lovely too, but it was probably a bit too daring for me on a daily basis 🙂

May I say the girls on the Harvey Nichols Fenty Beauty counter here in Dublin are all really lovely. So helpful and so willing to chat. When I went in initially to exchange, they were awaiting a new delivery of stock. I wanted the coveted Gloss Bomb, and there was none in store. So, they gave me a voucher to come back in, or use it over the phone. Unfortunately, you cannot use gift vouchers on the Harvey Nicks website as of yet.beauty blog ireland

I scrolled through the HN website and realised they had just gotten the Bomb Baby Mini Lip And Face Set! I thought these were a Sephora exclusive. Turns out, nope! I annoyed the girls on the counter one more time, and told them to ring me when they got a shipment in. They did, and know you’re up to date 🙂top irish beauty blogbeauty blogger ireland

So what is the Fenty Beauty Bomb Baby Mini Lip And Face Set? A mouthful first and foremost I know.top irish beauty blogger

It is also a set that contains a mini Gloss Bomb Universal (5.5g).top beauty blog irelandtop beauty blog ireland

This is the only gloss within the Fenty Beauty range. It’s an apricot shade with a multi coloured shimmer running through it. It has a light sweet fragrance to it. It’s not sticky on the lips and feels really nice and comfortable. Apologises for the remnants of a cold sore on my lip 🙁

dublin beauty blogirish beauty youtuber The set also contains a mini Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in Hu$tla Baby (2.2g).

This is a peachy golden highlight with a multi coloured shimmer running through it. The formula is soft and buttery and it applies really intensely.

For me, this was killing two birds with one stone. It meant I could try the infamous gloss AND a highlighter from the range for the same price as a lipstick! I’m not generally a big lip gloss kinda gal. But, so many people love it, so I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. First impressions, they’re both lovely!fenty beautyYou can buy the Fenty Beauty Bomb Baby set from Harvey Nichols in store or online here now for €20. I thought it would be helpful to note, you can order online for collection in store, or if you live within a ten mile radius of Dundrum, they can courier your order out too!

beauty bay haulI had no major plans to do any Black Friday shopping in all honesty. At the time I was fairly broke and couldn’t really justify more beauty purchases. As I did a blog post about the deals that were going on, I was aware of them though and I couldn’t help having a look on Beauty Bay!

beauty bay black friday haul

I didn’t buy a huge amount, but I thought I would give you a look at the couple of bits I did pick up. I picked up bits I actually needed and then a couple of random things just to try. Beauty Bay had 30% off for the Black Friday weekend and they had a queued system to actually get onto the site. This shopping was done on Sunday evening, so although I was eyeing up Zoeva palettes and the likes too, they were all sold out! Probably for the best as my bank account would have taken a major battering 🙂 Zoeva products are actually cheaper on Beauty Bay in general for some reason, if you’re ever in the market though.

I spent €25 in total on the website which got me free shipping to Ireland.beauty bay shopping

I needed a brow pencil and an eyeshadow primer. So, I thought I would try some from a different brand. The LA Girl products are cheap in general and with 30% off they were even cheaper.

I picked up one of their PRO.primer HD Eyeshadow Primer in Nude.beauty blog ireland

You can see it on the website here.

Then, for brows I got two of their Shady Slim Brow Pencils.la girl makeup

One in Medium Brown and one in Espresso. Just because I’ve been enjoying using two tones of pencil through my brows of late. I thank Eylure for that. (Review of their Fleur De Force Brow Define Pencil here).

The LA Girl Shade Slim Brow Pencils come in ten shades which is pretty awesome from the Beauty Bay website here.

While I was browsing the brand, I decided to also get some their eye pencils to try as well.

Two shades of their Glide Gel Pencils went into my basket. Brown and Gypsy Teal. I find it hard to say no to a teal eye liner 🙂top irish beauty blogger

These pencils are available in 19 shades here.

I decided to try one of their Endless Semi Permanent Auto Eyeliners too. The shade Olive was clicked. I like to play around with coloured liner.dublin beauty blog

My last Beauty Bay purchase was an eyeshadow from Makeup Geek. I went with one of their foiled eyeshadow in the shade Whimsical.irish makeup site

It reminded me of Mac’s All That Glitters in the picture and I thought a more intensely pigment version of that shade would be a nice addition to my Makeup Geek collection. It’s definitely way more pink and cool toned though.

And that’s the end of my very restrained and somewhat practical Beauty Bay Black Friday shopping. Go on make me jealous, what did you buy?

Zara Duty Free Random Haul

This has been a bit of a funny week for me. If you follow me on Snapchat, you’ll probably already know. And, I touch on it a bit in the video aswell. Last week was lovely, we spent it in Spain (Almuñecar to be exact), for our lovely friend Ella’s birthday. I had bought some stuff in duty free on the way back and the plan was just to give you a nose on Snapchat. But something pretty shitty happened this week and my brain hasn’t really let me get back to normality…yet. It will though 🙂 So, I thought I would combine a few bits that I have bought in town, some Zara bits and the duty free products and show them in a haul.

Zara Duty Free Random Haul

Hauls are fun to film, and hopefully fun for you to watch aswell. This was a good compromise for me. It meant I could just sit in front of the camera and ramble about the goodies I have picked up, and it gives me blog content too. I actually ordered some of the Zara things while I was still in Spain, online. I thought they would be a nice little treat to come home too 🙂 Then, we had prolonged our holidays for a little bit longer by spending the day after we came back, in town, doing some shopping.

I only did a haul here before I went away. So if you want to see more shopping you can watch that too!

What I can link I will, in case anything takes your fancy:

Zara online purchases.

  • Pom Pom Sweatshirt. Link here.
  • Two Tone Sweatshirt. Link here.
  • Mini velvet embroidered backpack. Link here.

Duty Free purchases. I bought these in Malaga airport, but they pretty much cost the same as they do here:

  • Esteè Lauder Doublewear Nude Foundation. Link here.
  • Lancôme Matte Shaker Liquid Lipstick in the shade…Link here.
  • L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil. Link here.

Clinique Beyond Perfecting 2 in 1 Foundation. I wanted to get this in the airport but they were out of stock of my shade Alabaster. So I treated myself to it in store from Arnotts. They have it online here.

And yes I bought a third foundation for good measure. The new Rimmel Lasting Perfection Breathable foundation. I picked this in from Boots here. The brand was on buy one get one half off, so I got their Insta Fix & Matte Powder because my lovely friend Sue (itscherrysure) raves about it.

The rest of the things are from Penneys so I can’t link them, but they are in store now. To watch the video in full, click on it above or head to my YouTube channel directly here.

Superdrug Haul

I went beauty shopping! Very unlike me I know 🙂 To celebrate Superdrug opening it’s doors in Liffey Valley shopping centre here in Dublin, the lovely PR gave me a voucher to spend. So, I thought I would do a little Superdrug haul here in video form. I do love a good haul 🙂

Superdrug haul

I spent the voucher and some of my own dosh too, and I’ve also included a couple of Superdrug own brand B makeup goodies. These were with the press release.

beauty vlogger ireland

Now this was not my first time in this particular store, I’ve been in there a few times already and bought some bits and bobs. It’s so clean and new and I actually prefer how the makeup stands are laid out. Boots tends to have aisles. It’s nice having everything all in one line, so you can mosey your way down easily. May I add, the girls working there are lovely and super helpful too!

My Superdrug haul consists of, of course some makeup goodies, but I also got some practical boring stuff too. I love that Superdrug and Boots tend to have different specials on so you can compare and contrast to get the best deals on what you’re looking for.

I got some ‘self care’ products 🙂

You know I go on about the Fixing Mist all the time so I got a back up as well as two new products. I have a full review of it here.

A blush and highlight duo from Elf.

And that would be it for my Superdrug haul. Of course you can buy the products in store or directly from the website here.

******CONTAINS PR SAMPLES*******

My lovely best friend Sue gave me a voucher for Inglot Cosmetics for my birthday. She knows me well 🙂

inglot cosmetics haul

So, I headed to the South Anne Street store and picked up some new eye goodies to add to my collection.

inglot cosmetics

I ended up leaving with four eyeshadows and two AMC Gel Eyeliners. Honestly, their gel eyeliners are some of the best I have ever used, ever! There was no real rhyme or reason to the eyeshadow colours I picked if I am honest. I just tried to go with shades that I don’t already have in my collection. They don’t really go together at all. But they are super pretty none the less. They’ve set up home with the rest of my Inglot Cosmetics shadows in one of my very grubby Z Palettes.

All of their eyeshadows are linked here, if you want to see them on the Inglot website.

First up is number 366. It’s a matte raspberry shade.

My second new shade is 296. This is a matte red with a hint of pink to it.

407 is a orange toned shimmering golden shade. I am imagining this will look super pretty as a ‘pop’ shade in the middle of the lid. I’m excited to play with it.

419 is my last Inglot Cosmetics eyeshadow purchase. It’s a super pretty shimmery, nearly metallic olive green.

Number 70 is a matte baby blue shade. I got this up because I actually have a Maybelline kohl pencil in the same shade. You can see it swatched here. I use it all of the time in my water liner and love it. I thought I would treat myself to a more long wearing version.

The second one is number 96. A mid toned brown with flecks of golden shimmer running through it.

I received a very cute package in the post this week from Benefit Cosmetics.

Benefit Cosmetics Hoola

Seriously, they do the cutest packaging in the business! The Hoola family has expanded and there is also a new box highlighter in the mix too. I thought I would give a closer look at them, and of course swatch all the products here too.

Benefit Cosmetics Ireland

I am a big fan of the original Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Bronzer.

Benefit Hoola Bronzer

It’s just a really good, build-able matte bronzer. You can find it on the Debenhams website here. At €34, it is pricey, but they do last a really long time.

They’ve now released a new version, Hoola Lite.

benefit hoola lite As the name would suggest, it’s Hoola, but lighter 🙂 It is matte and slightly cool toned. Definitely more suited to paler skin tones.

It is in the same box format, containing 8 grams of products. You can find it on Cloud 10 Beauty here.

The second new product being welcomed into the Benefit Cosmetics Hoola family is their Quickie Contour Stick.

The last newbie on the scene is Dandelion Twinkle Highlighting Powder. Benefit Dandelion Packaged the same as any of the boxed products. You get 3 grams of product within.
