Soap & Glory The Rushower Dry Shampoo

Myself and dry shampoo have a really close relationship, yep you read that right. I panic if I don’t have one stashed in a drawer ready for use. I have oily skin, which means I have oily roots. Generally, the second day after washing my gruaig, I will need a spritz. I am always a bit reluctant to talk about hair stuff too in-depth. I am not great with hair. I know how to wash, dry and use a hair straighteners or a curling wand on it. That is the extent of my hair abilities. But I guess when it comes to hair care, I know what I like and what works for me, so I am allowed dabble in it, right? 🙂 I picked up the new Soap & Glory The Rushower Dry Shampoo for one reason. Purely because it had the familiar scent the brand are known for.

They call it their Signature Pink scent which consists of Rose and Bergamot. I am a big fan of it. I love the kitsch packaging too.

I have to admit I am not majorly fussy when it comes to dry shampoo. I just want one that smells good, sprays evenly and doesn’t leave my hair feeling like I was rolling around in the sand all day. Ok, maybe I am a little bit fussy… I can say that the Soap & Glory The Rushower Dry Shampoo ticks all of them boxes for me.

It smells really good (in my opinion). It sprays really finely on the hair, so it doesn’t make your fingers or hairbrush sticky as you disperse it through the roots. It does a great job at mopping up any unwanted oiliness in the roots of the hair and gives it a bit of a lift at the same time. It also doesn’t leave a white cast on your hair, once you don’t spray it too close and give everything a good rub in!

One downside of the Soap & Glory The Rushower Dry Shampoo. It only comes in a 200ml can. And you can go through it mighty quickly! The mist is fine, so you do tend to go a bit nuts using it.

Overall though, I am a fan! I will definitely repurchase. The Soap & Glory The Rushower Dry Shampoo is available in store and online here from Boots now for €3.89.

I thought rather than just tell you about the Garnier Micellar Oil Infused Cleansing Water, I would make a video showing in action.

Garnier Micellar Oil Infused Cleansing Water

This is the first time I’ve ever taken my makeup off in video form so it felt a little strange, not going to lie 🙂

Garnier Micellar Oil Infused Cleansing Water

Garnier say of their new Micellar Water on the Boots website: ‘Is Garnier Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water Right For Me? Yes, if you are looking for an efficient, yet gentle cleanser that removes all make-up (even waterproof), impurities and dirt and leaves skin feeling nourished. Suitable even for dry, sensitive skin. Why Is It Different? Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water is an easy way to remove even waterproof make-up, and cleanse and nourish the feel of skin, in 1 step without rinsing. How Does It Work? For the 1st time Garnier Micellar technology is formulated with oils. The micelles (cleansing agents) capture impurities like a magnet & lift away dirt from the skin, whilst the oils instantly dissolve all types of make-up. The Results:Perfectly cleansed, nourished feeling skin without rubbing or rinsing.’

In this video I show you the Garnier Micellar Oil Infused Cleansing Water in action on a full face of makeup including waterproof mascara and gel eyeliner. As well as giving you my two cents on it. I’ll give you a hint though….

Simon & Tom Moroccan Hair TreatmentThe Simon & Tom Moroccan Hair Treatment contains Argan Oil from you guessed it Morocco 🙂

It deems itself to be a non greasy formula that instantly absorbs delivering concentrated shine. I can agree with that I think. I have been using this oil for a long time now and I would compare it very much to the well known Moroccan Oil that we all know and love. Simon & Tom market the serum for all hair types. I have long quite thick hair, but an oily scalp and it works well for me.

You just apply a small amount into your hand and massage it through damp hair.

One pump is enough for me. I tend to concentrate it on the ends of my hair. It helps with frizz and fly aways and makes your hair feel softer and smoother.

I sometimes use even half a pump after using the hair drier or straighteners just on the ends to make my hair less frizzled from using the heat.

It smells nice too which is always a bonus.

Overall, I really like the Simon & Tom Moroccan Treatment. The 100ml bottle will last you for ages too as you need such a small amount which is great.

You can pick is up here and it is on special at the minute for €24.90.
