irish beauty bloggerIt’s that time of the year again. Time for black Friday deals, and Cyber Monday to boot. I’m more of a Cyber Monday gal myself. I don’t tend to bother with the crowds 🙂irish beauty blog

As a disclaimer, I will just say. You are under no obligation to buy any black Friday deals. I am doing this just because as a blogger I get sent a lot of the codes, so it’s easy enough to put them in one place. And also to be completely transparent, some of the links I will share are affiliate links. You pay no more using an affiliate link. All it means is that if you click on my link and choose to buy something, I make a minuscule commission.black friday deals

Anyway, let’s get onto the black Friday deals. I’ll insert the ones I have already and then update this post as often as I can with more codes/links and cyber Monday deals too.

I’ll update as I source more or things change. Happy and safe shopping 🙂 And if this was helpful, please do share. Thanks.

beauty bay haulI had no major plans to do any Black Friday shopping in all honesty. At the time I was fairly broke and couldn’t really justify more beauty purchases. As I did a blog post about the deals that were going on, I was aware of them though and I couldn’t help having a look on Beauty Bay!

beauty bay black friday haul

I didn’t buy a huge amount, but I thought I would give you a look at the couple of bits I did pick up. I picked up bits I actually needed and then a couple of random things just to try. Beauty Bay had 30% off for the Black Friday weekend and they had a queued system to actually get onto the site. This shopping was done on Sunday evening, so although I was eyeing up Zoeva palettes and the likes too, they were all sold out! Probably for the best as my bank account would have taken a major battering 🙂 Zoeva products are actually cheaper on Beauty Bay in general for some reason, if you’re ever in the market though.

I spent €25 in total on the website which got me free shipping to Ireland.beauty bay shopping

I needed a brow pencil and an eyeshadow primer. So, I thought I would try some from a different brand. The LA Girl products are cheap in general and with 30% off they were even cheaper.

I picked up one of their PRO.primer HD Eyeshadow Primer in Nude.beauty blog ireland

You can see it on the website here.

Then, for brows I got two of their Shady Slim Brow Pencils.la girl makeup

One in Medium Brown and one in Espresso. Just because I’ve been enjoying using two tones of pencil through my brows of late. I thank Eylure for that. (Review of their Fleur De Force Brow Define Pencil here).

The LA Girl Shade Slim Brow Pencils come in ten shades which is pretty awesome from the Beauty Bay website here.

While I was browsing the brand, I decided to also get some their eye pencils to try as well.

Two shades of their Glide Gel Pencils went into my basket. Brown and Gypsy Teal. I find it hard to say no to a teal eye liner 🙂top irish beauty blogger

These pencils are available in 19 shades here.

I decided to try one of their Endless Semi Permanent Auto Eyeliners too. The shade Olive was clicked. I like to play around with coloured liner.dublin beauty blog
These are available here.

My last Beauty Bay purchase was an eyeshadow from Makeup Geek. I went with one of their foiled eyeshadow in the shade Whimsical.irish makeup site

It reminded me of Mac’s All That Glitters in the picture and I thought a more intensely pigment version of that shade would be a nice addition to my Makeup Geek collection. It’s definitely way more pink and cool toned though.

You can have a closer look at it on the website here.

And that’s the end of my very restrained and somewhat practical Beauty Bay Black Friday shopping. Go on make me jealous, what did you buy?

This is my very first Black Friday Deals blog post, so I am really hoping it ends up being helpful to people 🙂 I did my pick of Advent Calendars here for this year and it went down really well.Black Friday Deals I always declare, but just to be extra transparent, I do use affiliate links. This doesn’t mean you pay anymore as a consumer. It just means if you buy anything through the links I share I make a really small commission. And it all goes back into buying makeup so I can keep writing (and filming) for Beautynook.

So, now that’s out of the way, let us get onto the Black Friday Deals for this year. I’ll list what I can, as early as I can. And then, if I spot anything else worth sharing, I will update this post throughout as things change. Some codes may only work on Friday.

Let’s be real who doesn’t have a Black Friday haul to talk about? 🙂

black friday haul

I didn’t go to crazy and to be fair did pick up some pressies (for other people) along the way. That didn’t stop me from having a little splurge myself though. So, this is what I picked up in my version Black Friday haul. There’s not a whole lot, but enough to warrant a waffle :).

black friday haul

I did some Christmas clothes damage on Asos, Office and Littlewoods. Just some comfy casual clothes to wear on Christmas day. I have what I can link, linked on their names.

Then I also picked some stuff up from Colourpop. They had free shipping and are so affordable I couldn’t resist. I picked up a brush from Zoeva too. Just the one, although I would buy all of their brushes if I could, not gonna lie! I bought two Milani products from Beautybay aswell. They had a good chunk off of their Milani stock.

I have swatches of the new Urban Decay Full Spectrum Palette that I bought from Siopaella, so I will link that here if you want to see it up close.

I also used ‘Midnight Blaze’ from the palette on my eyes in the video.

I am pretty brutal at shopping the sales generally. But it’s handy if the stuff is online and there’s a code rather then specific markdowns. I did all of my shopping in my pj’s, happy days 🙂

As always you can watch the video above by clicking or you can head on over to my Youtube channel here and watch it directly.

Did you Black Friday Haul yourself? Go on tell me what bargains you got and make me jealous. I missed out on loads because I’m just too damn lazy to research and source them. I might try to be a little more organised next year!

So many of you told me you love watching Get Ready With Me style videos. I love watching them too (not my own though if I’m being honest ha) So here’s a Spring Makeup one, where I am basically applying a face of makeup that I would wear for a Spring day/early evening. Myself and himself were off for some Friday eats this day so I thought it would be a appropriate because I was actually doing my makeup to go somewhere, not just for the sake of filming 🙂

This is more of a talk through style video, which I still haven’t completely mastered, words still elude me 🙂 But I thought I would give it a whirl and sure don’t they say practice makes perfect, right?

Irish beauty blogI used a mixture of more affordable and more high end makeup which is a true representation of my normal makeup routine. I like to mix it up 🙂

So the products I used (including skincare) are:

La Roche Posay Serozince- Full review here

For black Friday Beauty Bay were doing 10% off Makeup Geek. Since the exchange is so bad here, this made the price of the shadows a little bit more bearable. And so I bought a few new friends to add to my collection 🙂

I did a look with some of the Makeup Geek eyeshadows I already own here not too long ago if you fancy having a look at some more.

I was quite restrained and only bought four new ones. Also Beauty Bay keeps selling out so quickly, so you can’t be too fussy when it comes to choosing.

makeup geek irish beauty blogtop irish beauty blog

My first purchase was a rather boring but still lovely brown.

irishbeautyblog

This is one of the Makeup Geek standard eyeshadows in ‘Brown Sugar’.

irish beauty bloggermakeup geek swatch

It’s a lovely warm brown colour and thought it would fit in nicely with my other brown Makeup Geek browns :p

This shimmery little number is also one of their standards in the shade ‘Cosmopolitan’.

I went online and saw swatches of this and thought it looked really interesting, so into the basket it went. It’s a lovely shimmery light bronze colour and super pigmented.

beauty blogger

I popped two Makeup Geek cherries in this Beauty Bay order.

One was to buy one of their duochrome eyeshadows. This is in the shade ‘Typhoon’.

irish makeup and beauty blogbeauty blog ireland

I love a green shadow I have to admit. This is kind of a blue toned one. I don’t have anything like this in my collection.

irish beauty blogger beautynok

The other cherry was to own one their foiled eyeshadows. This is in the colour ‘In The Spotlight’. I am very pleased to get my mitts on this.

I think this is my favourite of my four new friends. It’s foiled so its super shiny. It applied much better with your finger, you just get a light wash of shimmer if applied with a brush. I am in love with it 🙂

beauty blog beautynook

I’ve mentioned a million times how big a fan I am of Makeup Geek so I am pretty pleased with my new additions and can’t wait to play with them properly.

Have you any Makeup Geek recommendations? I’m always in the market for more 🙂

Thanks,
