Another day, another makeup look with the BPerfect Carnival Palette. I reach for this beauty a ridiculous amount. If you follow me on Instagram, you know that all too well, apologies ๐Ÿ™‚ The colours just make me happy, inspire me and blend really bloody well. This time, I am opting for a relatively easy orange eyeshadow makeup tutorial. Well initially it was going to be a full on tutorial, but the neighbours were doing work out their back garden. So now it’s a get ready with me style video. Hopefully that’s ok too.

I did another makeup tutorial using the mint shade in this palette here too if you want to check that out for more inspiration.

I love using bright shades like this orange eyeshadow, but still making it easy somewhat wearable and easy to work with too. The typical ‘instagram makeup looks’, are amazing, but they’re just not me. I’m definitely more of an attainable, real life makeup gal, but I still like to have fun with it all.

Some of the main products I used in this makeup tutorial are the L’Orรฉal Infallible Fresh Wear Foundation. I cannot get enough of this stuff at the minute. The Essence Liner is swatched here. Mascara is here. Concealer is Tarte Shape Tape. I have a review of this here. The blush is from my most recent Colourpop haul. The Wet n Wild highlighter is swatched here. Lipstick is the nude from these Bourjois lippies here. I love the formula of these.

Ok, enough jabbering on. If you want to see the orange eyeshadow in action, click on the video at the top of the post or you can go directly to my YouTube channel to see the full get ready with me video. I really enjoyed creating this makeup. It was one of those days where it just went to plan ๐Ÿ™‚

Let me know what you think.

I am completely jumping on the bandwagon I know, but it has pretty much been love at first sight ever since I got my hands on the BPerfect X Stacey Marie Carnival Palette. The colours are ridiculously fun, with pops of wearability. If it had a matte base shade, it would be close to a perfect palette for me. The colours are super pigmented and blend really well. Can you tell I love it? Ok, enough gushing. I created this super easy and (I think), wearable colourful eye makeup using it, and posted it on my Instagram.

Wearable Colourful Eye Makeup Tutorial

I got some lovely comments, (thank you). So, thought I would recreate it in video form on my YouTube channel.ย ย My approach to colour is very much in the real world. I am not a makeup artist, nor am I a super talented Instagram makeup gal. I’m just a 33 year old who loves to play with makeup, but still be able to pop up to the shop for a pint of milk in it ๐Ÿ™‚

And I hope this comes across here. There is such thing as a wearable colourful eye makeup look. To me, it just has to be approached simply with some added liner and more everyday tones to ground the pop shade a bit. I’ve been having so much fun playing around with the BPerfect Carnival Palette. Whether it be full on colour like this, or just slicks of brightness along the lash line.

The shade ‘Mint’ in-particular calls to me, so that’s the star of the show in this look, but of course you can use whatever shade you like.

I touch on a few of the other products I used in this wearable colourful eye makeup tutorial. But, I wanted to focus on the shadows being the star of the show.top irish beauty blog

Let me know what you think. And if you have the palette, I’d love to know your thoughts on it ๐Ÿ™‚
