July Favourites 2018

Yep, we’re over half way through the year, no need to panic, although I am kind of! Another month down means a monthly favourites round up. So here is my July favourites in all of their glory 🙂

My July favourites for 2018 consist of a good mix of products and rambles, if I do say so myself.

For some reason, when it comes to these roundups, I always end up talking a lot of beauty nonsense, so I apologise in advance 🙂

As always I’ll try link everything I talk about so you can have a gander if you so choose. Please do check out the video above or here though. I go into more detail and hopefully explain in not too many rambles why everything individually made it into my July favourites.

Missoma initial hammered disc and small bobble necklace. It’s free to get them engraved.

My little star huggie earrings are from Betty & Biddy and the second pair is from Ali Express.

Lancôme Le Vie Le Belle Eclat. I’ve linked the Eau de Parfum, it’s always a much better investment I think. I got sent the Eau de Toilette and it’s still really nice though. As I mention, I am loving layering with other more deeper scents to ‘Summer’ them up a bit 🙂

Super Facialist Rose Hydrate Miracle Makeover Facial Oil is the next product in my July favourites. You can have a closer look at this here.

An oldie, but a rejuvenated goodie is my second last favourite, the Maybelline The Eraser Eye in Ivory. They have released more shades in the range now which is brilliant. It is good to note though the shade Ivory is the lightest. Perfect for my skin, but definitely swatch is you’re lighter than me.

My last fave for July is the Pixi Glow-y Gossamar Duo in Subtle Sunrise. I have not shut up about this, I am so sorry 🙂

April Favourites 2018

As I am writing this, the sun is shining and it’s May. Which means it’s officially Spring, which means no constant rain and being miserable…just some of the time :). A new month also means a look back over the previous month. So, here is a run down of some of my April Favourites for 2018.

How was your April? Mine wasn’t too bad all in all. I had some good times and made some good memories.

My April Favourites consist of mostly skincare actually with a snippet of makeup, fashion and dare I say some political views as well. Definitely not something I talk about a lot. If I do it’s mostly on Twitter. I don’t shy away, don’t get me wrong, there’s just people out there doing a way better job at it than I ever could. But I think May, for me, for us as woman of Ireland is so very important. Please make sure you are registered to vote, do your research and make an informed decision.

Ok, let’s talk about some silly stuff now 🙂

My April Favourites definitely reflect the changes in the seasons, I think. As always I talk much more in depth in the video above or here. But I’ll give you a quick run down and link to everything I can.

Human + Kind Miracle Makeup Remover. (A Micro fiber face cloth).
The Clarins Hydra Essentiel Moisturising Reviving Eye Mask. This is actually on sale at the moment from Debenhams here.
The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution. Definitely a mouthful of a name. It’s an exfoliating peel which treats the top layer of the skin.
Garnier Ambre Solaire Sensitive Advanced Protecting and Hydrating Face Mist SPF 50. This is actually way cheaper than I initially thought and has been working a treat for me.

Then finally my bag was a gift from my friend Ella of Siopaella. She sourced them in Morocco and sells them in store too.

March Favourites 2018

I am way late on the March Favourites for 2018 bandwagon. We are well into April. But sure I thought, better late than never, right?

My March Favourites this year are a bit of a mixed bag of beauty (of course), fashion, (in inverted commas ha), and a Netflix recommendation.

March has been a bit of a funny month for me. I have been job hunting, but in a different way from what I am used to. Blogging for the last four years has given me a love for digital media and I’ve realised it’s the industry I would love to work in. Don’t get me wrong, I would love nothing more than to write about beauty full time, but here in Ireland, as someone like me, that’s not really a reality right now.

So March has been a been a whirl wind of interviews, beauty writing and life stuff. It’s been weirdly a month of clarity for me, so for that I am very grateful. Also, the weather was getting a teeny bit warmer through the month, so that helps everything. I wouldn’t be Irish if I didn’t bring the weather into this sum up somehow 🙂

Ok, I digressed completely there, let’s get into my random bag of March Favourites.

I talk more about them of course in the video, but I will link what I can here.

The Ella & Jo Squeaky Clean Brush Cleanser is my first beauty fave. You can buy it directly from their website or Meaghers Pharmacy also stock it. (It’s currently 20% off from Meaghers.)

I chat about the Wet n Wild 1 Step Wonder Gel Nail Colors all of the time but the shade, Lavender Out Loud, has been my go to shade through March.

The Nudestix Intense Lip + Cheek Pencils are available to us from Cult Beauty. I chat (and am wearing), the shade Kiss.

My Betty & Biddy necklace that I show isn’t on their website now, but I will link them here so you can check out what else they have on offer.

The jeans are from Penneys and Littlewoods as I mention. I don’t have links to either, sorry.

And then finally my honourable fave is Wild Wild Country on Netflix. I’ll link the Wikipedia page here so you can check it out. It’s a mind boggler 🙂
