Rimmel and Kate Moss together over their 15 year relationship have had 40 separate campaigns, which is pretty impressive! To celebrate, they’ve released the Rimmel Kate Moss 15th Anniversary Lipstick Collection. There is also a nail polish collection too!
The lipstick is encased in a metallic look rose gold plastic tube, which I am not mad at whatsoever. Love me some shiny rose gold π
I picked up 3 shades in the lipstick collection, but there is six varying nude and red shades to choose from.
Rimmel say of the latest collaboration,’Celebrate 15 years of the most successful, unrivaled partnership in the beauty world. Rimmel and Kate Moss introduce a special-edition lip collection in Kateβs favourite reds and nudes, each created by Kate and inspired by her London look.’
The three I picked up are:
54 ‘Rock ‘N’ Roll Nude’ A creamy pinky nude.
51 ‘Muse Red’, which a blue toned traditional glossy red shade.
And then the last one I picked up is 53 ‘Retro Red’. A deeper burgundy based glossy red shade.
Here they all are swatched on my arm side by side from left to right.
There is also another red shade called ‘Idol Red’, which is in between the red colour spectrum of the two I have here. And then two other nude shades that are less pink based and are called ‘My Nude’ and ‘Boho Nude’.
I am a big fan of Rimmel lipsticks and these do not disappoint from a colour pay off and formula point of view. They are creamy easy to apply and true to colour. They have the familiar Rimmel lippie overly sweet scent. I don’t mind it, it reminds me of stepping into the front door of Ikea, where they keep all of the scented candles :). But, if you are sensitive to smell, the strong scent might deter you!
The colours are lovely, but they are not anything majorly new or innovative. Most brands, including Rimmel have colours like these already in their makeup stands. The packaging is pretty though π
The Rimmel Kate Moss 15th Anniversary Lipstick Collection is in store and online in Boots here now. They cost β¬10.99 each which is a bit pricey for Rimmel I will admit. Boots are doing buy one get one half price on Rimmel at the moment though. Superdrug also have the lipsticks instore and online here which is where I got mine for β¬8.99 each and are on 3 for 2 at the moment.
